Dogtown CrossFit Gym Programming: Follow a complete gym training cycle that includes a specified Warm up, Lift / Skill Block and Metabolic Conditioning. These 6 week training cycles focus on GPP, prioritizing strength and technical development in the lifting program and skill blocks. The lifts are built around the Power Position (like the Barbell WOD). The skill work is geared towards strict strength and proper gymnastics training (like The Skill WOD). The entire piece is periodized around the CrossFit Open and the CrossFit workouts are designed for anyone to be able to prioritize speed and intensity. Smart effective programming for the beginner, the novice or advanced athlete.
